Rather an oddity this one, a well-proportioned model of a Burrell agricultural engine, built at around 1 1/2 inch scale. It appears to have been built as a display model, although a great deal of trouble has been taken with working motionwork, tubed boiler and working two speed road gears. A long time ago it appears to have been refurbished, at which point it was repainted and acquired a dummy wooden pressure gauge and lubricator - there are also some unpainted wooded hub caps in the tender. Other than that the engine is entirely constructed of brass and steel as expected.
