It's recently come in to us as part exchange - an older engine, the previous owner had done a fastidious job of stripping the engine before painting and lining to an exhibition standard prior to reassembly.
Although run on air before starting the restoration project, he had never steamed the engine - it now needs finishing off with various fittings, pipework, and steering chains required.
The engine turns over freely without tight spots. From visual examination the boiler looks soundly made and has obviously been steamed in the past, although we have no previous documentation for it.
