Highly regarded when produced in the 1980s and 90s, Maxwell Hemmens produced a range of finely engineered models, including locomotives, traction engines and stationary engines, many of which can be found in our archive pages.
In excellent condition throughout, the engine runs well on air, the dynamo lighting up the headlamps. There is one small area of missing paint on the flywheel, inexpertly retouched in the past.
