A 1 inch scale "Minnie" traction engine with a fair bit of work done, the quality rarely rising above mediocre. Best bits are are a silver soldered copper boiler which, from the neat flanging, sparing use of solder and absence of overheating appears to be a commercially made item and a set of gears that appear to have been bought for the project. Wheels are pretty reasonable, crank is a silver soldered fabrication which looks like it would clean up ok. Cylinder is scrap, it's about the worst machined block I've ever seen.
There is a small quantity of castings which, mercifully, the builder didn't get around to machining.
