A largely-complete 2 1/2 inch gauge model of a Drummond 700 class 0-6-0, originally built for the London South Western Railway in the late nineteenth century.
Silver-soldered coal-fired copper boiler with superheater, feed by injector and axle pump mounted beneath cab floor with auxiliary hand pump in tender. The firebox is bushed for the tiniest fusible plug imaginable, there is currently a solid blanking plug fitted. Gunmetal cylinders with slide valves actuated by Stephenson's valve gear with pole reverser in cab.
The engine pushes along freely, the boiler looks well made. The engine is unsteamed and has never been finished off - the steam pipe from header to cylinders needs connecting and the axle pump rod requires fitting.
