A very bedraggled looking "Dyak", LBSC's design for a 2 1/2 inch gauge Mogul first published in 1934.
Clattery motionwork, the most worn-out pump eccentric I've ever seen, missing pressure gauge, floppy cab, three missing buffers and horrendous paintwork.
On the plus side, it runs well on air, the pump (despite the eccentric) pumps lustily and the boiler is sound, having had a satisfactory 120psi hydraulic test this morning.
Well worth while sorting this one out, it's another survivor from a simpler era of model engineering which really needs mainly cosmetic sorting and a few minor mechanical jobs. If you do make a nice job of it, can I have a picture when it's done - I've never had a nice-looking Dyak in, so the archive is full of either rebuilds or part-builts.
