A 2 inch scale Burrell DCC showmans engine, built to Ronald Clarke's highly detailed "Thetford Town" design. Part of a large collection of engines which came to us recently, it has not been steamed in many years.
It turns over freely and runs on air, initial examination suggests the boiler is structurally sound at 200psi on hydraulic test, however there are a multitude of leaky fittings which would need to be overhauled before a 30 minute test could be conducted.
Complete with lamps, dynamo belt and crane.
