We sold this engine to a young man in Wales last year. He's since channelled his passion for steam from road to rail, and part-exchanged this in against a 7 1/4 inch gauge "Wilberforce".

In the same condition now as when it left us, the words and pictures have been lifted from the previous listing.

A 2 inch scale Clayton steam wagon to the Robin Dyer design, complete with articulated trailer.

Largely complete bar cab roof and supports, it runs well on air. On hydraulic test the boiler has a small but persistent leak on the foundation ring but otherwise appears sound.

In addition to the standard coal grate there's a ceramic burner for gas-firing.
