An early stage 2 inch scale Durham & North Yorkshire traction engine, built to the John Haining design. Boiler is by the estimable John Rex, with material certificate and hydraulic test paperwork dated 1994 (he must surely have still been at school in short trousers in those days).
Cylinder casting has a weld repair on the flange and a variety of welded up holes underneath. Remainder of parts comprise crankshaft with flywheel, wheel rims, machined hubs and spokes.
Complete with some drawings and copies of the original construction articles.
