Continuing in my quest to buy every PoP ever made, yesterday I was collecting this one in the morning and delivering another in the afternoon.
Silver solder copper locomotive type boiler fed by crankshaft-driven mechanical pump with bypass, injector and handpump in left hand tank. Twin cylinders with slide valves actuated by Stephenson's valve gear with pole reverser in cab. Mechanical lubricator. Two road gears, with final drive by chain with differential.
Fairly typical PoP build - somebody believed the "put it together with hand tools only, CNC machining guarantees everything will work" and assembled it until it wouldn't turn over any more. It needs stripping and reassembling.
Complete all assembly instructions, original brochure and the initial twice working pressure hydraulic certificate. With time, patience and a degree of mechanical savvy, they can be made to go well - there's a good one in the archive I sold last year.
