A "Pride of Penrhyn" steam wagon, assembled from a Winson kit.
The silver soldered copper boiler has had a recent hydraulic test with new certification issued, the engine itself runs on air in either direction although with some leakage past pistons and/or valves.
The pressure gauge is 0-100 psi reading, it really needs replacing with a 0-120 type for 90psi working.
We've sold a good number of these over the years. Originally designed by John Clarke - the man also responsible for the original "Polly" locomotive designs - they're a practical, robustly proportioned engine which, set up correctly, can perform well.
