An interesting old engine, part of a "barn find" containing the ancient 4-4-0 I've also got in at the moment. It's never been run but is largely complete - the chassis turns over easily and looks as if it would run with the addition of a pin for the near side radius rod to expansion link joint. The boiler is copper - I have hydraulic tested it at 160psi at which it appears structurally sound. There are two tiny weeps, one from a crown stay inside the firebox, the other from a foundation ring rivet on the outside, both would be easy to calk to give a usable boiler.
There is a regulator to fit the boiler and a few other odds and sods. The grate casting is too wide but the right length - it could be cut down to fit.
The chassis and boiler look quite old, the orange painted tinware for cab and running boards are more contemporary.
