A 3 1/2 inch gauge Canadian switcher to Martin Evans' "Caribou" design - I think these look great, there's a lovely doubled up 7 1/4 inch gauge version running about which I covet mightily!
Silver soldered copper boiler, 80psi working pressure, feed by twin injector with auxiliary hand pump in the tender. Gunmetal cylinders with piston valves actuated by Baker gear, mechanical lubricator.
Nicely made, the engine hasn't been run in recent times - we have a good deal of past club history for the boiler, the chassis needs some attention, runs so-so forwards, not at all backwards. A worthwhile project, the standard of the rest of the engine merits some time in the workshop over winter.
