You might remember this one last time round - I sold it a couple of years ago, it's on the archive at http://www.stationroadsteam.com/archive/2202/index.htm. In the intervening period it has been used by a chap who has rapidly progressed from 3 1/2 inch gauge, through 5 inch (see the B1 currently in stock) and now up to 7 1/4. He's currently in the process of building a large 7 1/4 line in the garden which, going on progress thus far, looks like being an interesting layount when finished.
Built to LBSC's "Bantam Cock" design based on Gresley's V4 Moguls, this is an older engine with silver soldered superheated copper boiler. Feed is by injector and handpump, cylinders are in gunmetal with slide valves actuated by Walschaert's gear with pole reverser in cab.
The engine now needs a good tidy up and some repainting. The boiler blowdown valve has been broken off - the remains are in the tender. The boiler has had a hydraulic test in the workshop and is in good condition.
