An older example of LBSC's Black 5 "Doris" design, built by the man responsible from "Rob Roy" and LNER J39 currently in stock.

Silver soldered superheated copper boiler, feed by injector and axle pump with auxiliary hand pump in the tender. Gunmetal cylinders with slide valves actuated by Walschaert's gear with screw reverser in cab. Mechanical lubricator.

The engine has a sound boiler and runs, it needs some tidying up.

Complete with nicely made carrying crates for locomotive and tender.
