Unused for some years it will require recommissioning for steaming. The boiler has had a twice working presure hydraulic test for 80psi working, the engine itself is free to turn over - it runs well on air in both directions.
Locomotive paintwork is largely good, that on the tender getting tired with various scrapes and scratches. Smokebox door is missing its locking bar, the locomotive is otherwise complete.
