A 3 1/2 inch gauge Canadian switcher, based Martin Evans' "Buffalo" design but with marine boiler.
Silver soldered copper boiler, 80psi working pressure, feed by axle pump and injector with auxiliary hand pump in the tender. Gunmetal cylinders with piston valves actuated by Baker gear with pole reverser in the cab. Mechanical lubricator.
The engine was in regular club use until last year when it came to us us part exchange for a new "Feldbahn". Boiler is in good order, mechanically it runs - there's a clip of it here - although the piston valves are passing steam and will need attention next winter.
