A largely complete chassis to Martin Evans' "Caribou" design for a Canadian Switcher. Typical of American practice with heavy-duty bar frames, the engine is a powerful eight-coupled design.
The chassis rolls freely, the wheels are accurately quartered and rods well made. Most of the valve gear is made and fitted, including the reverser. Piston valve bobbins are made and are ready for fitting complete with rods.
There is a set of "Model Engineer" magazines detailing construction included.
