This one came to us as part of a larger collection of his 3 1/2 inch gauge locomotives. Not run in several years, it will require work for recommissioning, including attention to the regulator (seized shut when it arrived, it freed off after hydraulic test, then decided to stick open!) and replacement of a broken drain cock on the steam pump.
The boiler has had a twice working pressure hydraulic test with new certification issued.
The engine runs beautifully on air in either direction with clear, even beats. Fit and finish is similar to the builder's other engines (including the narrow gauge Peckett listed recently), with the same arrangement of mechanical lubricator.
