An older example of a large Pacific based on LBSC’s
“Hielan Lassie”, built as a two cylinder engine. Silver soldered combustion chamber boiler, working pressure
80psi, feed by axle pump and injector. Gunmetal cylinders with slide valves actuated by
Baker valve gear with screw reverser in cab.
The engine hasn’t been steamed in some years, however the
boiler is in good condition and it runs well on air – this would be a
straightforward recommissioning project.
