One of LBSC's more popular beginner's designs for 3 1/2 inch gauge, "Juliet" is an 0-4-0 contractors type tank locomotive which is small enough to be easily handled yet not as fiddly as a "Tich" to fire and keep in steam.

Silver-soldered superheated copper boiler fed by axle pump with auxiliary hand pump in side tank. There is an unused side feed on the boiler which could be used for an injector. Whistle mounted under running board. Outside cylinders with inside valve chests and Stephenson's valve gear. Displacement lubricator behind front buffer beam.

This engine needs restoration and a repaint but is complete and turns over freely.
