An ancient "Juliet II", LBSC's venerable beginner's 0-4-0 (which actually pre-dated "Tich" by a couple of years, although there must have been ten of those build to every Juliet) with Baker valve gear.
Silver soldered superheated boiler, working pressure 80psi, feed by axle pump and injector with hand pump in the side tank, gunmetal cylinders with slide valves actuated by Baker gear, pole reverser in cab, mechanical lubricator.
The engine hasn't run for many years - water comes out of the regulator boss and inner dome cover about as fast as our hydraulic test pump can get it in, although with 100psi on the clock the smokebox and firebox looked complete dry - the leaking fittings would need sealing up before a proper hydraulic test can be done. Chassis goes like the clappers in forward gear, not at all in reverse.
