A 3 1/2 inch gauge Mogul, modelled on the prototype of 1880 by the Porter Locomotive Works, Pittsburgh. Built from one of the beautifully made and highly detailed kits supplied by O.S twenty years ago, it remains in new, unsteamed condition.

Silver soldered superheated copper boiler, feed by axle pump with auxiliary hand pump in the tender. Gunmetal cylinders with slide valves actuated by Stephenson's gear with pole reverser in the cab, mechanical lubricator.

Complete with its original factory assembly instructions and display track.

The engine came in recently with a collection of locomotives including several other new, unsteamed models from the O.S range including a 3 1/2 inch gauge Krauss, 3 1/2 inch gauge Britannia and 5 inch gauge four-truck Shay.
