A part-built narrow gauge 0-4-0 saddle tank to Martin Evans' popular "Conway" design.
Work to date comprises a complete chassis, machining looks good although it is fairly stiff to turn over - tight rather than tight spots, I think by virtue of it having sat around for many years. The copper boiler looks grotty, with the regulator bush missing with distortion of the backhead in this area - might be salvageable. Remainder of the bits comprise cab, hand pump, chimney, dome and grate casting, material for a brass saddle tank and a set of "Model Engineer" magazines covering the build.
I've had several of these engines pass through the workshop - there's some pictures here of one that sold last month - it's a design I rate, they go well and are easy to drive.
