Completed in 1989, this was the first of three engines built by a man in the North East who has recently hung up his overalls when, in retirement, a house move forced closing down the workshop. Built to Martin Evans' popular design, the engine has a silver soldered copper boiler by Bishop-Ellis, 80psi working pressure with feed by axle pump and injector with auxiliary hand pump in the side tank.
