A well-made 0-6-0 tank engine to Martin Evans' "Rob Roy" design, in recent times something has been dropped on the engine, or the engine dropped on something - either way, the nearside of the cab is in distressed condition and requires some panel-beating and painting. Other than that, the engine is in good condition.
Silver-soldered superheated copper boiler, working pressure 80psi, feed by crosshead pump and injector with auxiliary hand pump in side tank. Gunmetal cylinders, slide valves actuated by Stephenson's valve gear with pole reverser in cab. Mechanical lubricator.
