Silver-soldered copper boiler with superheater, fed by axle pump and injector with auxiliary hand pump in tender. Slide valve cylinders with Stephenson's valve gear, pole reverser in cab. Usual cab fitting of blower valve, injector steam valve, pressure gauge, water gauge with blowdown and whistle. Axle pump bypass valve on footplate, injector water feed valve on tender.

We have hydraulic tested the boiler at 120 psi for 80 psi working pressure - the boiler is fine and is warrantied to pass a club test, downstream of the regulator the engine needs a new superheater element. Otherwise it is in good mechanical order and the slightly dodgy paintwork covers an otherwise well-made engine.

Complete with fitted carrying crates for locomotive and tender with tool drawer containing tools, grate and a set of firing irons.
