An exceptionally well-made and finely detailed 4-4-0, similar to a Southern L12. Inside cylinders with Stephenson's valve gear, silver-soldered copper boiler tested in January 2002 at 150 psi for 75 psi running, fed by a running board mounted boiler feed pump and injector. The comprehensively equipped backhead includes front and side ashpan damper levers and steam brakes. The cylinder lubricator is driven via a rocking shaft from the front end of the nearside valve rod.
The 6-wheeled tender has screwdown brakes and the whistle mounted underneath.
This engine runs very well and has a club boiler certificate valid until January 2004.
