A 3 1/2 inch gauge 2-6-2 tank engine to Martin Evans' rather good "William" design. The engine is to an advanced stage, with a complete chassis which pushes along freely, most of the platework done and a loosely assembled boiler which requires soldering together. The whole thing is grubby, but underneath there's quite a decently-made engine.
I like these engines, they go remarkably well for their size - I've had a couple in the last year, pictures in the archive at http://www.stationroadsteam.com/archive/2405/index.htm and http://www.stationroadsteam.com/stock%20pages/2626/index.htm
Another of those projects that require some time in the workshop but little extra expenditure - basically a set of boiler fittings and a grate would finish it.
