The work of a prolific modeller, with half a dozen locomotives and some fine rolling stock to his credit, this is a largely complete narrow gauge 0-4-0ST to Martin Evan's popular "Conway" design. The copper boiler has well-formed and flanged plates but has only been tacked together, it's about 80% complete.
Copper boiler, single spring type safety valve, feed by axle pump with auxiliary hand pump on the footplate. Cast iron cylinders with slide valves actuated by Stephenson's gear, pole reverser in the cab. Mechanical lubricator mounted on the offside running board, driven by a return crank off the rear driving wheel.
