Chassis is well advanced, with cylinders machined and fitted, and outside valve gear largely complete. There is a crank axle machined and fitted along with an eccentric - whether a third cylinder was planned we're not sure, there is a part-built water pump mounted on the stretcher behind the smokebox.
The copper boiler is a finely built thing, all silver soldered - no paperwork, although it is stamped up with the Bishop-Ellis mark, with a 200psi test pressure. Happy to warranty this one as sound given quality of construction and provenance.
Boiler is 21 inches long overall, firebox 8 inches and barrel just over 4 inch diameter.
There is a complete tender, along with a quantiy of platework and a smokebox door.
