An older engine, this one has come to us recently along with a 4 inch scale Burrell in part exchange for a full-size road engine.
The boiler has had hydraulic and steam tests with new certification issued - the engine steams freely and runs well, with some wear apparent in the pump eccentric which will need attention in the future.
The regulator leaked badly when the engine arrived with us, it's been replaced with a graphite-filled PTFE type to our standard design.
Overall the condition is very much "working clothes", to some eyes (including ours) entirely appropriate - indeed rather appealing - for a model of an agricultural engine.
