A retired professional engineer, the builder's other models included another 3 inch Burrell, a 3 inch scale Foden, pair of 1 1/2 inch scale Allchins, a superb 2 inch scale Burrell Gold Medal Showmans tractor (winner of the Aveling-Barford trophy at the Model Engineer Exhibition) and virtually everything from the Stuart Turner range, including their Major beam and triple expansion engines.
The engine remains in good mechanical order, it's had recent hydraulic and steam tests with new certification issued. The paintwork is bright and generally in good condition, although with some loss of paint to the inner rims of the rear wheels.
Complete with purpose built driving and passenger truck, 53L x 23W x 20H (to seat).
