A new, unsteamed Burrell agricultural engine, completed two years ago - it's been test run on air but never fired - by builder of the 3 inch scale Clayton wagon and 5 inch gauge Bagnall currently in stock.
Commercially-built welded steel boiler with expanded copper tubes, with original maker's 300psi hydraulic test certificate and all material paperwork. Feed by injector and mechanical pump. Cast iron cylinder with slide valve actuated by Stephenson's gear with pole reverser. Mechanical lubricator. Steam siren mounted on cylinder block.
Two speed transmission with winch mounted behind nearside rear wheel, fairleads mounted on tender.
We've not steamed this one - there are a couple of jobs to do, chimney needs fixing to base, winch wire needs an end splicing on to secure it. Runs on air, the motion is fairly stiff but without tight spots.
Complete with a set of drawings.
