The engine has come to us from the builder, he's made a good start on reassembling the engine, with the cylinder block remounted on the new boiler, hornplates fitted and crankshaft installed.
There are a large quantity of parts with the engine, we're assured everything that was removed is present making this largely a reassembly job.
The boiler has had a recent hydraulic test at the owner's club, with certification issued for same - it's ready for a steam test when reassembled.
Given the original quality of build combined with the scarcity of steam roller miniatures - particularly nicely made ones - we'd be tempted to undertake a full repaint as well at this stage, it would make a very handsome engine.
