Pictures opposite and words below taken last year. The engine is in similar condition now, it's had new water gauges and safety valves, lamps missing (but promised from the previous owner).
A 3 inch scale Marshall S type tractor, a well-detailed and nicely finished model with commercially built copper boiler - we've had it in steam this afternoon, belted up to the Garrett threshing machine currently in stock.
Silver soldered copper boiler by GB Services, built 2007, 100psi working pressure. Feed by mechanical pump with bypass and injector. Cast iron cylinder with piston valve actuated by Marshall valve gear (which always to my eyes looks at least one rod short of a set, but this one goes well enough), mechanical lubricator. Balanced crank, four shaft, two speed transmission with differential. Winch behind nearside wheel with fairlead mounted on tender.
Paintwork and lining are in good condition, it's got much of the patina of a full-size engine about it. There's some video of it running in the yard this afternoon here.
