A Wallis & Steevens "Simplicity" steam roller, a nicely-built older model in good mechanical order.
Based on the diminutive 3 ton roller built by the Basingstoke company, in 3 inch scale it's of compact size, easy to transport in a small hatchback.
In steam yesterday, it runs well enough although has a couple of jobs need doing over winter, including attention to a leaky regulator and ineffective injector - likely caused by a leaking clack valve.
