A 4 inch scale Burrell to the Live Steam Models design, completed in 2009 and steamed infrequently since. It's had the important bits done by good people - boiler by Bell, cylinder block machined by LSM, commercially-cut gears (including differential), vulcanised tyres (which came to nearly £1000 on their own) - which probably explains why it goes so well, it steams freely and pulls strongly.
Remainder of the work mainly pretty good although steering is stiff to operate, the angled gear selector lever has apparently never been fitted and paintwork is truly dreadful.
Certainly an engine that can be used as-is, however a repaint and light tidy-up over winter would do wonders for it.
Complete with driving seat and a set of drawings.
