Bought some years ago, the owner got as far as part assembling the tender and hornplates before work intervened, keeping him away from home for long periods on overseas postings.
We've been through all the boxes - as far as we can see it's complete bar a pair of motion covers, two firehole doors and a pressure gauge. There is light surface rust on some steel parts acquired in storage which cleans off easily.
Complete with all documentation for the CE-marked boiler and safety valves, along with the well-written assembly manual and exploded parts drawings.
Ordered with optional bonded rubber tyres, the engine is still available in STW's current product range, shown here on their website.
We've had several of the STW kit engines now and have been impressed by how well they go.
