It's spent the last few years in less than ideal storage conditions, collecting some light surface rust to the brightwork. It now needs some disassembly to clean and paint.
The engine is largely complete and runs well on air - there's some video of it here. Injector has yet to be fitted, it's included in a small bag of parts. The CE marked boiler is welded steel with expanded tubes, it's had a recent twice working pressure shell test and internal examination, it's like new inside.
Complete with driver's seat and steam-raising extension chimney.
We've had several of the STW Burrells in over the years - they go well and can be finished to a high standard - there's a particularly nicely painted one shown in the archive here if you need some inspiration.
