A largely complete 4 inch scale Foster traction engine, built largely to the Live Steam Models design, using their castings and gears - they also machined the cylinder block. Boiler is by the estimable Mr Bell, CE-marked and complete with all paperwork. There are a few modifications to suit the builder's preferences, including double T-ring front wheels and a slightly longer smokebox, giving more weight forward at the front to balance the, er, larger driver...

The engine is around 95% complete - it requires gear guard, some boiler cladding and the (supplied) rubber tyres fitting to the steel bands which have already been made and fitted to the wheels. The engine has been test steamed but has yet to turn a wheel on the road.
