Another 4 inch scale Foster, we've had a bit of a run on them since Christmas. A deservedly popular engine, they're pretty much the ideal rallying engine in this scale - getting on for half a ton, it is a well-proven, powerful design.

This engine has been unused for several years, boiler has recently had a commercial test with internal inspection and hydraulic, it's in good condition. Welded steel boiler with expanded steel tubes, 100psi working pressure, feed by crankshaft pump and injector, twin Ramsbottom safety valves. Cast iron cylinder with slide valve actuated by Stephenson's gear with pole reverser. Mechanical lubricator. Four shaft, two speed transmission with differential, axle-mounted winch behind nearside rear wheel with fairleads on the tender. Wheels are fitted with rubber tyres.

Complete with a passenger trolley.
