A 5 inch gauge 0-4-0 tank locomotive - it's well-proportioned but the design is not one I recognize, it's got a bit of stretched-"Chub" to it, combined with a scaled-up "Juliet". Whilst undoubtedly an older engine, it appears to have been very little used - the firebox shows copper colour inside, the silver solder is still visible, clean, on the smokebox tubeplate, the motion work, although grubby, is in good order. The whole thing was originally made to a good standard, it runs well on air.
Silver soldered copper boiler, working pressure 80psi, two-element superheater, feed by axle and hand pumps. Gunmetal cylinders with slide valves actuated by Walschaert's gear, pole reverser in cab. Mechanical lubricator.
