Well built, it has a commercially made, CE-marked boiler by Priory Boilers - supplied new in 2008 it's in excellent condition and appears to have had little use.
The engine steams freely and runs very well in both directions, with crisp, well defined exhaust beats - there's some video of it running outside the workshop here.
There is a substantial braked bogie tender with seat and footrests for ground level running.
The engine requires some minor fettling - on test the drain cocks leaked; there is an intermittent low speed squeak which sounds like cylinders although the lubricator is working and pumping oil.
