Recently completed, the B2 has been test-steamed by the builder, including two hours on the club track in recent weeks to confirm that everything was working to his exacting standards.
The Swindon boiler has recent club hydraulic and steam tests; we've steamed the engine in the workshop here, it runs beautifully, exactly as one would expect (there's some video of it on the rolling road here).
Professionally painted and lined, the engine is in ex-works condition - when not on the track, it would make a spectacular addition to anybody's sideboard (and I'm working on Mrs P to see if that sideboard might be ours...)
