A 5 inch gauge bogie driving truck with patent brake comprising large block of wood and big lever. Being charitable, we've decided it was probably built as a combination rail vehicle/sledge, whereby with a spirited tug on the lever, the wheels are lifted from rails and voilà, you're off-piste...

I've on idea where these keep appearing from, the container seems to yield up a barmy truck a week at the moment, it's a bit like the stuff that keeps surfacing from glaciers.
