The engine was originally being built for a friend, a change of circumstances meant it came to us at a late stage in construction back in 2019 - there are pictures and words in the archive showing the engine at that time.
Completed and painted by another of our customers, a man who has built several locomotives and stationary engines himself, the engine has been on display in his conservatory since, unsteamed.
The engine runs on air in either direction, forwards better than reverse. Motionwork is accurately made although an hour or two's work with fine emery and some paraffin would improve its current "as machined" finish.
