A 5 inch gauge Class 37 battery electric, a well looked after locomotive in good condition.

It's come to us as part of a larger collection which included the 5 inch gauge Royal Scot "Sherwood Forester" and a new, unsteamed 3 1/2 inch gauge BR 9F 2-10-0.

Fitted with a digitally sampled sound card and a pair of serious-looking speakers under the bonnet, it sounds super with engine startup sequence, air brake operation and horns - there's a clip of Colin running up and down the car park with it here.

Complete with battery charger which plugs into a socket in the bodywork, remote handset controller and a hydraulic pump-up stand which the previous owner used for storage and transferring the locomotive to his trailer.
