One of the best-looking engines I've ever had in, a Claud-Hamilton in, unusually, LNER livery rather than the dark blue Great Eastern paint scheme.
This one is by a prolific engineer, completed in 2002 - the last time I saw the builder he was trialling his new "City of Truro" at the club track (and that was just as good looking!).
Silver soldered copper boiler, working pressure 80psi, feed by injector, axle and hand pumps. Twin safety valves. Inside cylinders with slide valves actuated by Stephenson's gear with screw reverser in cab. Sight feed lubricator.
Goes as well as it looks, this one - Steve was that taken with it, the engine was spirited off home for the weekend when it came back, there's a clip of him running round his club track here. Thought I wasn't going to get it back at one point...
