5 inch gauge "Deltic" - stock code 4291
I sold this one a couple of years ago, it's just come back from the owner's son. He tells me it's done less than twenty laps of the club circuit in his father's ownership - looks much the same now as back in August 2010, when these pictures date from.
A 5 inch gauge battery-electric "Deltic", complete with sound system. Four motor drive with 4QD controller, supplied by a pair of 12 volt batteries. The locomotive has a remote control box giving control of motors, lights, fans and horns.
Despite its size, length and power, the engine is easy to transport single-handed. Body comes off, batteries out and the bogies detach in a matter of minutes, leaving no individual piece an uncomfortable lump to carry.
